The Need
Often, looking at the orphanages, the sight of children who have already lost their fathers and been separated from their families, their weary countenances deeply affect us emotionally. Consequently, upon reflecting, we decided that rather than placing these orphans in institutional settings, it would be more compassionate to support them within their own homes, offering them the emotional security and care they need alongside necessary facilities.
About Us
Established on 04-04-2010 by the grace of Allah, Dharul Ilm Helping Hands originated from a heartfelt desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of orphans. Our journey started with a modest effort to cover the educational expenses of 10 affected orphans including school uniforms, monthly stipends (rice, groceries, cash assistance for daily expenses) and essential medical facilities . By God’s grace we have steadily expanded our reach and impact as our efforts have gained momentum with your unwavering support.
Today, hIlm’s helping hands are helping more than 160 orphans. Not only does it provide them with material support, but it also conveys the preciousness of stability, security and a sense of belonging.
Our Purpose
The mission of our Trust Dharul Ilm Helping Hands is multifaceted. Providing comprehensive support and care to orphans; Giving them the support they need to lead a fulfilling life.
Accordingly, applications will be received from bereaved family, mother and father bereaved family, we will go in two groups from the administration, find out their actual status (father’s death certificate and documents are obtained) and select them if they are eligible.
Our primary goal is to provide every child in our care with a quality education to prepare them with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in a changing world. And yet we are committed to providing them with the necessary food, clothing, education and health, and to make them virtuous.
Yet our work is deeply rooted in the principles of compassion, empathy and social responsibility and we are committed to extending a helping hand to orphans as per their circumstances.

Our Future Plans
Darul Ilm Helping Hands, which has been operating in a rented building for 11 years, due to lack of space due to the increase in children, decided to buy its own space, and by the grace of God and your generous support, the space was purchased on 18-11-2021.
Insha Allah we are making arrangements to cover this place. After completion of construction, Darul Ilm helping hands will be shifted to this place.
